I have not had any time in the past few weeks to do much at all. I was able to add some spidertrax 1.5 inch spacers and with one extra washer added to the steering stop I now have zero rubbing. I've been planning to line the interior with line-x for a while but now I'm also starting to think about doing the exterior to hide some of the imperfections in the metal work I have done. I like the black but I'm also thinking about blue so it might end up looking something like this over time.

Black is getting old. Go blue, that would fit your ride better since it's so different. Nice work on this build!

I think I am leaning toward the blue at this point. However - it has been slow going lately. I'm still working on the fenders but in the mean time I did fill in all the holes around the edge of the tub where the hard top would have bolted onto. Here how it came out. I'm hoping to finish up on th efenders next week.

Sweet build! There's a lot of awesome chit on JKO, but a raked windshield is new... (amongst all the other mods). Sub'd.

When are you going to put the new springs in?
I've got the JKU front springs but still have not gotten around to getting the RK rear springs. I'd still like to try flexing it fully before I change anything just so I can see what the difference is between the two set ups. I still really like the lower stance so if I could get away with minimal bump stops then I might not add the springs. I know that's probably wishful thinking but I need to find a way to safely flex it before I do anything. I also figure adding the springs is something I can do at any point. And the past couple of months it has really slowed down. Just too many other projects right now going on at the same time.

Thank you all for the feedback. I'm enjoying the direction it is going.

Nice build, I'm working on a raked windshield project but it's been stalling out while I wait on some parts and fix stuff on my 4dr that I managed to break. This pic gives a decent comparison both compared to the factory angle and compared I stock cage height. I'll need to lower the seats but I don't know yet what visibility will be like so I may have to change the angle so I have more head room if I've gone too far.

That looks great! It looks like you might be a little more tilted than what I did. I'm about 6ft tall but did not need to lower my seats although I have thought about doing that too. I'd think the visibility would be fine sitting a couple inches lower. IT would be great to see pictures of what you do if you do lower the seats.

Awesome work and great build!! Love the windshield mod!

It has been a while since I've had time to post anythign. Anyway the fenders have taken a lot longer than I thought. Here are a few current pics. I hope to have all the detailsed work on the fenders completed this weekend so I can get it lined next week. exciting....

Dropped the Jeep off at Line-X on Friday. Hope to have pictures of a blue Jeep sometime next week to post.

It's kinda looking like the Lower 40. I like it! Sweet build thus far.

Thanks. And yes - the Lower 40 was a mojor inspiration for this build. So was the Flattop and Haulk designs Dune Raider. Of course mine has 37's so it is more like a lower 37..... :)
