Can my freedom panels be reinstalled over my shade top with the hardtop off?

I have a shade top from JTopsUSA! Can my two Freedom panels be reinstalled with the jtop shade top in place and the hardtop removed? I tried doing it yesterday and it seemed like things were not lining up. Has anyone successfully installed the two Freedom panels with the shade top installed?

dont think we’ve met you so, take a few min to hit Welcome Room and introduce yourself and your Jeep when you can.

Also, no idea what the JTop you speak of is but if any soft sunshade is impeding the seating of the panel pins, you’d have a rough go of it.

your owner manual or YouTube has a great beginners guide to the top install process . Tops are tops and it can only go on one way so, if you can’t install , pretty evident your jtopthingy is blocking something. You eyeballs will help in this scenario!

I've never owned a Jtop, but every Spiderweb shade and Alienshade I've owned had holes for the bolts to go thru.

Just remember to flip down the tabs on the back of your freedom panels when installing without the rear top.

I leave my Spider Shade on my jeep all the time, takes a few extra minutest to line up the freedom panels sometimes, but it all fits fine. Not sure what the top is you are referring to though, I am not familiar with that one
