I have also spent many years in the JL Forum. The owners of the 4XE' have a lot of problems with them. Plus, once that the batteries are out of warranty, they are very expensive. Several of the Dealers have their lots full of them, because there is very little demand for them, because of their poor reputation. I strongly suggest that you pass on purchasing one. But that is your call.

 

Vehicles with Lithium batteries in my opinion are potentially unstable and can explode & catch fire unexpectedly.
He is a car transporter on fire in England of EV's just yesterday. Govt doesn't want to admit to the fallacy of it all as it goes against its and the EU's / UN's agenda.

Videos of 4XE Wrangler exploding can be found on line. I guess most here have seen that one.

I'd pass. They have a lot of problems that are already mentioned here, they're extremely heavy because of the batteries, they're really only popular amongst the Tesla driving crowd and who wants to be associated with that?

Add all this to the fact that they really only get about 20 miles per full charge and EV infrastructure is practically nonexistent outside of a few major cities.
