:D wow that looks sick!...i want a pair!

Installed a Daystar dash panel.

I was behind Mark on the run last weekend we had same jeep pretty much except he had 37s with 5.38 and bumpers and I'm running 35s with 5.13 and no bumpers. He had probs in snow and I didn't for some reason oh and we both have bfg km2
The secret to snow is low tire pressure. Everyone knows about sand and needing low pressure. Snow needs even lower pressure!
Tire differences are in reality about finding that right pressure for those tires.

Built a support system and skid plate for my rear track bar axle mount.

Installed Poly's rear control arm mounts and relocation perches for shocks.

As you can see, the shock no longer is lower that the control arm mount and eliminates snagging on the rocks. Also works as a skid plate. This is a must as It seems like a likely spot to hit. Pretty easy install. Just need a grinder.

I used state of the art noise reduction technology to dampen the wind sound that was leaking from my freedom panels. Black Duct tape. Looks stupid but driving up to the Sierras the last two weekends I couldn't take it anymore.

Warrior Products did a giveaway for January that I won!!!! They gave away winch rollers and a Hi-Lift Hood Mount. I won the hood mount. I did have to go out and buy a Hi-Lift. That's when my wife said, "You need a jack on your hood? I guess that is a good thing in the Jeep world." Yes, Honey it is! She is a good wife so she just says it's your Jeep do what you want. Flowers at work for Valentines is a winner guys!

I will say that it is a very well built mount. They put in a tube where the bolt goes through to strengthen the design. The bolts are allen heads to make a cleaner look and less available to remove than an adjustable wrench. I was surprised that the hood didn't seem that much heavier when you lift it. It is so far back on the hood it makes sense, but was still surprising considering how much the jack weighs. It took all of 10 minutes to install, so there is nothing technical. I used an extra spider ball loop to separate the handle from the jack to keep it secure and quiet. Normally I would have put my jack inside but it's a jack so if it needs some care I will take it off and hit it with some paint or oil to keep it functioning properly. I did also put a cable through the mount and jack to help keep it locked in place for someone less honest. I don't think my wiper spray will clear the mount, so I will need to get a generic sprayer at the auto store to make it reach the windshield. I might actually be able to improve the spray pattern. I don't use it much so it's not that critical to me.

got some huge D rings welded onto my front bumper:D thanks to The Chad!

I decided to investigate the rust rings around my windshield hinge.

I took them off and what do I find? The underside of the hing cover is covered in rust where they forgot to paint. So I fixed that problem.

I'll need to spend more time and clean up the front but I ran out of day light.

I also ordered front bumper, safaristraps, and mopar tailgate retainer.

Lift, flat flares, and 37" MTRs (just to be different, sorry KM2 folks) are next on the hit list.

I'll have to do what Jeff does and put my spare in the trunk until I get enough money for a tire carrier.

Are you re-gearing? if so what gear and who's doing em?

From what I hear you will be waiting awhile for those mtrs like a month or so is what Goodyear says
true i dont see them freakin anywhere.. guy on Sac craigslist with steel rims and 35 mtrs for $1600

I don't "have" to re-gear with a 6speed.
However, in the future that should probably happen.

4wd told me they have them in stock at 348 each. (ouch)

ya depending on the size 4 wheel parts in sac said they could get them in a few days...4.10's in a 6 speed i would think wouldnt be too bad...4.88's or 5.13 would probably take some stress off down the line.....also from what ive seen the MTR seems to be a light tire with little roll resistance once you get them turning...
