Ok that just further confuses me since that was the only other tire i was concidering:confused:

Ps My apologizes for the hi-jack
Mix in a dose of overinflated tires (the first time), a splash of stopping the rig in the wrong place at the wrong time and a heaping of me not babying the pedal enough. Yea, I spun three times. Ray was a snow god w/ his KM2s. Maybe I'll downgrade to 35s! :grinpimp:

I wouldn't put too much weight in my outing. I think the GENERAL consensus out there is the KM2 are a bit better in the snow than the Toyo's (yea, of course there are some peeps that will argue that - just seems in my reading of snow posts the edge goes to KM2s...)

im the first to admit there was plenty of user error on my part....hell i hit a tree:D....but i seem to notice tires that have a tighter tread pattern between the knobs/hooks ect taccle snow/slush/ice better...both the km2 and Mtr fit this bill...even the Swamper SSR seems ti do well...my next step might be the Km2 and get locked up front...might atleast aid in the user error:D

theres a bronco up here on KM2's that floats over the snow.......

I think all of it is a combo of driver and spotter. We learned a lot that day and I wouldn't change anything and Mark its all about learning
Spotter who had a spotter:laughing:....i did for one part didnt help much he ended up winching me:shaking:

Jim just got back from the fabricator and fixed his rear shocks, and rear trackbar issues. While he was there, he had the fabricator add some additional mods.

I don't think Jim was around when he made some of these mods... :D

:laughing2: Ok now that's just funny and somehow I like that rig. Now that's a hunting rig right there. :D

I was running Pro Crap Mud's, 12psi, 4:10 gears (auto), and OPEN DIFFS...
When I'n doubt, hammer the skinny pedal!

Oil change, none left. WTF? Didn't overheat, no leaks on the ground, no splatter in the engine bay, plenty of coolant. Don't know.

Squeaky brakes, pads are fine. Rotor glazed. Thinking about slotted/cross drilled rotors in the front. Anyone used these?

Finally, synthetic rope for my winch. To be installed next jeep night!

Replaced a smashed LR shock. It was still working and hadn't leaked but I thought
it needed some attention. Ran it like this for 2 months. Rusty's shock may be inexpensive
but they can take some punishment. It was about 1 1/2 year old so it served me well.
Added Rusty's extended sway-bar links for the rear. Made some simple drop brackets
for rear brake lines. Bought my Hi-Lift Jack for the hood, since I won the Warrior Products
January giveaway. :bounce:The wife liked the fact I got something free and then went
out to buy something else to make it function. It's a Jeep so she knows how it works. ;)

yeah, but i realize half the people on here talking about spring rates, dont know what the hell they are talking about....mine looks like a squatting dog right now, had to order new coils tonight

Drilled 4 holes in my tailgate to mount my CB antenna and then ran the cable through the rollbar padding and down through the dash. All in all only about 3 inches of the cable are visible.

Installed with the help of JKO friends:
* Poly Ball Joints
* Poly Track Bar Relocation Mounts
* Poly Flip kit w/Drag Link
* Poly Tie Rod
* Fox Damper

Thanks again everyone for your help. :beer:
Jim,

Your front & rear steering & suspension is now ROCK SOLID. Between all of the items that you added, plus the trackbar reinforcement welding you had done to your Rear 44, you're going to be good. The Poly ball-joints seems really solid, and after it was all together it looks like your geometry is just right (in terms of the relative positioning of your drag link & track bar).

Get that beotch aligned, and let's see how she drives and wheels!
