Sweet Trailer! I want to do a trailer project like that some day
Thx

I was actually looking at old Jeep tubs for a trailer project before finding this one. Glad I bought the trailer and met the builders John Murray Sr & Jr before I got started building one. Learned a few things from them. Basically they went through hell with our wonderful state getting the trailer licenced. As usual, to many f'ing rules. If your not a manufacturer then you'll have to use an already licensed trailer such as a jet ski trailer or something for the initial build or you might play hell getting it registered later... sort of like the one wall left standing rule when remodeling. You can always leave that one stupid piece of the trailer as a conversation piece. That's what they experienced.

That being said, I think a salvaged JK tub with matching body armor fenders would be bad ad hell.

Love having the trailer, puts a cool spin on outback camping.

Your welcome to check out the trailer anytime for build ideas. Also, I'm sure John would be happy to offer his experience and advice to make registration works out.

What, no matching wheels? Looks great.
Yeah... 20's a little over the top for the trailer ya' think? :)

After getting the trailer done I've decided to go to 17" or 18" wheels for the trailer & the Jeep. Getting the axles done next is more important.

Good looking trailer. I've been wanting to get a trailer myself for the family.
Sweet setup EZ!
Thx.

FYI the ARB tent is awesome! We leave all our bags & pillows inside... no rolling them up at all! Flip it over, put on a few window shade rods if you like and ready for bed in about two minutes! Sleeps 3 adults or could sleep two adults & two small children. Rain fly is always on as well, so no worries if it's raining. Have to hand it to those Aussie's ... they really know how to build an outback tent setup. Kids love the high up tent thing ... sort of like a fort. Pretty fun stuff. About as close to "Glamping" as I ever want to get.
