Rain & shine... it's done!

Gibson Headers; Screamin' Demon coil; LiveWire ignition wires ( : badass wires! : ) ; heat shield sleeves; Gates belt pulleys; drive belt; braided stainless hose protectors.

Finally got all that crap installed! Parts been collecting dust since the beginning of December.

Gibsons came with some basic heat shields, I opted to install some LiveWire braided heat shield sleeves ... $35 well spent... exceptional quality. Set came with 8 sleeves so two left for a hot spot on a hose or something. Also placed the LiveWire sleeves over the Gibson sleeves for added shielding.

Overall I like the way it all turned out. Don't care what anybody says about shorty headers the upgrade was absolutely worth it just for reliability sake. The Gibson's are very well made. Now I can see why they have a lifetime warranty... Nice product Gibson! Glad I made that call to Gibson... their tech support before and after the purchase was exceptional. Still would have gone with RIPPS if not for the carb-tards in Cali.

A small piece of advice for anybody looking to install a supercharger... GET RID OF THE STOCK HEADERS FIRST! :pissed: What a bitch of a time it was getting the stock headers out and the Gibsons in. That was the most difficult header install I've ever done. If you plan to install a set of headers after a supercharger is in place be prepared to remove a lot of shit out of the way.

I've learned over the last two days that I hate those damn egghead baffle freaking whatever the f*ck they are just below the exhaust manifold to y-pipe connection. Why the hell couldn't Jeep put those damn things just a tad lower! 1"-2"s would have made working on the damn exhaust about a billion times easier!

After talking to my old co worker and confirming that there were indeed no more 37" Kevlars available (there was 1 actually), I went ahead and had him order me up my second option on tires, 37x12.50-17 pitbull rocker radials. Im getting 5.13s installed next friday and will have the tires put on week after that. Ill post up some pictures when i get them on.
