This was 100% my fault.
I deserve all ridicule sent my way on this one.

I was attempting install my upper rear arms.
I broke the bolts on both wheels and lifted the Jeep.
I decided to try one side at a time just in case I couldn't figure it out so I wouldn't have to put too much back together.
Well After 2 hours I couldn't figure out how to rotate the axel back to get the longer upper arms to fit.
So I threw the passenger side back on and torqued it back down.
Lowered the Jeep, and went in for lunch.

Later I went for a quick trip to Safeway and everything was normal.
On the way home this happened:
This was NOT the side I was working on!!!!

After a quick assessment I realized all I needed was a jack and some lug nuts.
A quick phone call later and the Cutts Crew Godfather came through and saved the day!
Thanks a billion Jason!!!

He also told me that my wheel on that side is toast and I will have to replace it. :(

tl;dr
- Forgot to torque wheel
- Drove to grocery store
- Wheel fell off
The damage:
- The wheel on that side is completely screwed.
- The license plate holder is broken.

Damn:bawling: sorry about that shit man....it could have been much worse tho..

NEW RULE: YOU ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO WORK ON YOUR JEEP!! Only me and Jason are allowed to touch anything that makes it move!!:shaking: Guess it's a good thing the Safeway is not very far.....what if you were on the freeway!! CRAZY SHIT RIGHT THERE!!
Glad everything is ok and nothing is ****** up that matters....only a rim needing to be replaced is better that needing to replace a BLUEBERRY PIE!!

I wouldn't quite go that far.

What you should probably say is that I need supervision.
I still want to learn how to do this shit.

Also I'd like to point out that the side I was actually working on was just fine.

First off - GLAD YOU'RE SAFE! Blowing a 37" at "road speed" is disconcerting enough. I can only imagine the pucker moment feeling of having a 37" fall completely off!

Good to hear that that's all the damage (ie. $$$) that occurred.

Over the weekend. Tore my Currie track bar bracket apart, around the hydro assist tabs; pinned between 2 big trees. Should have waited for a spot to get out cleanly. I didn't. Hobart Trek 180 made quick work of the repair at 5700', in the dark. It was EPIC. LOL

Installed new steering stabilizer(Bilstein) and Poly relocation bracket and I cussed a bunch! Fun fun fun. Actually I love working on the Jeep after I'm done but during it I'm always wishing I weighed 100lbs. more. The ******* bolts are always stuck! Grrrrrr
