I'm tossing the idea around of installing my VisionX Tantrum LED Rocklights tomorrow, making some mods to my OBA system, etc., tomorrow at my place in Turlock.
If I do, anyone is welcome to stop by for a Stella, Hefeweizen, or Bud Light, if you're in the area. The fridge is always stocked with liquids.

a huge thanks to Chris (FastTrack) and his father in law Pat. Ive had the idea for a while to hack up my rancho stubby front bumper and mount a recessed winch. I'm lacking in the fabrication skills department, but Pat made my idea a reality. He finished it up yesterday and we got some paint on it and mounted it all up. its working perfect and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I decided to be different and paint the bumper in a dark green, kinda old school jeep style. well I painted the fairlead, d rings and bolt heads all black. I really like how it turned out. I decided to also paint the rubi sliders to match, same green on the body, and flat black painted the end caps. I may paint up the rear bumper to match too, I just have make sure I still like the color before going through all that. here it is:

Thinking of doing something a little similar , I want to mount mine not on the stinger but at the top of the fairlead. Just haven't dropped money into lighting yet.

ok this week I put on a new front winch bumper from Shaffer's Offroad. awesome bumper, and you can NOT beat their price $199 with the stinger.
also installed a rear tire carrier bumper. (thank you sfccotton). then for the grand daddy i installed some new rear coilovers, and HOLY shit my 37s look small now, so I am jumping up to either 39.5 or 41" IROKS, oh yeah Jeep goes in the shop next week to have ford 9" axles installed front and rear will be running 513 gears with detroits front and rear. check out the pics

Installed tranny cooler, resealed tranny pan for fourth time and still leaking, wired hid fogs but they don't work, and fixed loose hidx connection. I had a 50% succes rate on the mods this weekend so I feel marginally successful.

No kidding about the price on that bumper. I saw that on Shaffers site and almost called thinking it was a misprint. Great deal on that.

yep this will be a good build, you guys should start looking for 9" axles..stronger than any pro rock 44, and depending on the carrier you go with, it can hold its own against the dana 60. when all is done I will give you guys the full break down of costs.

Looking forward to the cost breakdown. Are you running 1350 driveshafts ? Hydro-steer and all that good stuff ? 16.5 hummer wheels with 39.5 Iroks ?? I wanted those but I don't think I'm going bigger than D44s.

Already running 1350 driveshafts, no hydro yet. 39.5 iroks are what I am looking at, with my lift setup they will be perfect. With lots of flex.

Fender Chop
Chopped the stock fenders, which led to the rear white wheel wells being exposed and ugly as a bucket of assholes.... decided to bedline em'
got a Herculiner kit , started prepping and figured I should follow the body lines and do the rockers too, so off came the rock rails...
after a few hours of sanding, taping, cleaning, rolling, and then rolling they were done... i initailly wasnt sure how I liked em, but have gotten quite a few compliments...and they seem ok
lets see how it holds up ??
