Ohhhhh, you guys are so hirarryious!!! So funny, or not. :thefinger: I am having something fabricated, you jackasses!!!

I'll see you monkeys out at Carnegie on Saturday.

RC
So, Mr. Beastiality, are we monkeys or jackasses?

My 15 gallon water tank arrived today. Now I just need to mount it and rig up the hand pump.
Alright, I'll bite. What are you going to do with 15 gallons of water in your jeep?!? That's a lot of weight and space. I only take a 5 gallon container for a car camping week for two peeps and usually have some left over. Me thinks it's been too long since your days of backpacking - remember that conservation mentality! :D

On the plus side, I know who to sneak a fill from next trip!

LOL
I used to own a VW camper and I always had propane & water. Plenty of it. We used to joke about how it was our emergency preparedness vehicle.

15 gallons is overkill until you don't have access to water.

My ultimate goal for my Jeep is that it is prepared for the worst.

My grandpappy had a bomb shelter , I have my Jeep!

Hope you NorCal folks don't mind me still chiming-in. Things are pretty quiet north of you (OR and WA).

Recently, bedlined and installed new Poly Performance Baja Rack, to replace Bestop Universal Tray. Bought it locally, never installed for $150. :) Easily removed when not needed, by 4 bolts.

This weekend, installed the Rigid Duallys 2x2s on my EVO 1/4 Pounder Bumper. I went a little bit of a different route; keeping the KC Daylighters on the bumper and adding the Rigids as driving lights. Rigids are plugged into the oem fog plugs; simple Plug and Play. The whole install took about 30 mins, once I decided where I wanted the lights.

OK, so I have had a few projects stacking-up. Rain and carport projects just don't mesh well.

Installed 2 Safari Strap (THANK YOU Maral and Hatch!!) fire extinguisher holders with 2.5 LB extinguishers over the rear headrests. Easy, quick access if they are needed.

Upgraded to a Airaid Synthamax non-oil air filter; previous oiled version was dented.

All for now :bounce: Whew!!

Added tires and washed it...

Bubblegoose, everything looks great! Do you have any other shots of how you mounted that Baja basket? Was that a custom doing - ie will it fit atop the spare w/ an OEM hard or soft top?

Thanks.

The Baja Rack is mounted where a Bestop Universal Tray goes on the Bestop Tailgate Rack. Whew. I just drilled the Baja Rack to bolt at the same points. Worked really well, but a much better rack now.

Original setup with old tray

The spare or hard/soft top is a non factor, so yes it will work with any rig. A 40 spare does make it a little high, but no worse than running a roof style rack. I am still flush softop height with the rack empty.

And I can easily swap the Baja Rack to be used inside the rig, as Poly designed it. ;)

If you need any close shots let me know.
