This was a quickie install, and Scott dropped off a tool he was borrowing. Jimmy Hoffa (Family-JK) said that you made the permanent guest list, so quit your bitching!
The question is, will the two of you come out to the next Install Party that is hosted in TURLOCK??? Do you have that kind of travel stamina?

If you are in the Miss, there is no such thing as inappropriate and animal in the same thing!!
and RC, It is not the stamina I have an issue with ( i cancelled plans to stay with you guys last time) but you didnt tell me about this one, so being on the list does not help if i do not know there is something happening

Okay, you got me... The truth is that we were hosting the first ever JKO-Hooter Girl Tryouts in Jim's garage. The finalists had to be able to A) Look good in a Hooter's outfit, B) Decipher between SAE & Metric and hand wrenches & sockets on demand, and C) randomly hook-up with other JKO-Hooter Girl Contestants on demand.If you are in the Miss, there is no such thing as inappropriate and animal in the same thing!!

JK update weekend
Very productive weekend in garage. I address a few issues and got everything back perfect working condition like rebuilding my winch. In addition I managed to wet sand my paint for a show room look and add few more fresh coats of herculiner to my custom bumpers, frame, and suspension parts. finally went one step further and invented a new storage trunk for 2 door jk with seat removed. works great to hide things under and doubles cargo capacity and provides a wall to enclose a rear subwoofer system. enjoy! feels good to have the jeep back in pristine order. ready for moab this summer!! next weekend custom spare tire carrier!

Pulled the t-case skid and attempted to pull the gas tank skid to hammer out the snow run dent. Did not know that the tank skid held the tank itself up. Grrr. I did get to clean about 15 pounds of dried mud from the t-case skid.
Also pulled the X stickers from both sides.
How do I pull the gas tank skid without fuckin up the gas tank?

Ha!! I remember David (of AEx) telling me the same thing.. Luckily, his gas tank was about empty when he did it.. That's why I love this forum - learn before you burn...

I had mine pretty empty and managed to get two ratchet straps between the tank and skid to hold it up and not drop it. Once it was out I took an old strap and self-tapping screwed it to go between the tank and skid. I can drop a pretty empty tank with ease now.
Loosen the skid, then slide some ratchet straps between the tank and skid from both ends. Secure the straps ( I used my sliders) and drop the skid.

How did you pull the "X" stickers from both sides. I don't want to butcher the paint.

Goo gone to get rid of the residual glue.
Didn't butcher the paint at all. But then again I wheel my jeep so the paint is already pretty ******.
