Haaahaaaaa. I'm gonna put a happy face sticker on it so the car that rear ends me sees a smile before I puncture the radiator.

Well hell, if you're going to be puncturing radiators, you could have at least made the tip a relatively sharp, metal, spike! If you're gonna go, go BIG.

Those sliders look absolutely sick.

Well, I just got these from Poly. They are going on my rear tire carrier. Back up lights. Perfect size! Now I have to remove it (Tire Carrier) weld the tabs on and re power coat it. :shaking:

Thats my wallet to give you a size reference. VisionUSA.
Shoot some pics once you've welded the tabs on, and mounted the lights. I've been brainstorming about this for a while, and you may be onto an idea that looks clean, functions well, and doesn't get hit by carnage.

Thanks!

RC, no problem.....I have been trying to figure out a clean looking backup light system for sometime. We shall see.

Oh and Family-JK, I have see these hitch mounted bars work on the trail in Moab. Nice! At least you made it clear the spare. If you are like me with kids, the back is always opening for snacks and drinks.......

RC, These were the Vision lights I was talking to you about as a solution for back up lights. I'm really looking forward to how you (JKDinker) mount them up as I'm sure a few of us will be getting some ideas, if you don't mind. please post a write up on your install and if you could show some pics with them lit up. Hell I just might have to see this in person. :D

In regards to the rear hitch slider, I stopped by EVO in So-Cal and got the idea off one of their rigs parked out front. I thought it would work well, but we shall see. Ya I do open the back allot with the kids and all. I guess we shall see if I can still open the back with the fist use of the slider though. :D

Well, this week I put in Poly Performance C-gussets, Poly ball joints, Poly steering correction kit, Poly tie rod and Pitbull 39x14.5R17 Mad Dogs.... Next week is PSC steering pump kit with a Derale cooler. I'm keeping busy and gearing up for nicer weather and the return of crawling season.:bounce:

Changed out both my front axle seals this morning.

Lesson learned, the headache of changing axle seals in a jk is not worth the money saved.... Taking it to someone else next time!
