Has anyone used this kit yet? I am interested to here what the quality is like regarding the cast aluminum reflector and mounting brackets that hold the Hella Bi-Xenon projector. I assume the reason this turnkey kit is DOT approved is because they did not retrofit a projector inside a traditional headlamp housing. The look is definitely unique and I am not sure if I like it or not but it seems to be the most pure example of a turnkey Bi-Xenon kit for the JK. I am also considering the HIDprojectors.com turnkey solution.

Yeah it's the Daniel stern kit and it works very well, I was disappointed that a standard "E" code 7" lamp didn't make it into the headlight shoot out, I'm very pleased with it and the harness quality was great. I used to do custom car audio so I was nervous about the high dollar harness but when it showed I was like, damn...

Any pictures of the chrome and/or black kits installed? It would be nice to have pictures of the kits installed and in parts out of the box. The pics on rallylights.com only show one light close up and then the front with them turned on so you really cant get a good idea of what the jeep actually looks like with the kit installed.

Just so you know...because the website is kinda confusing...it's $640.30 PLUS $695.18 for the set.

Yes, you read that correct...almost $1400.

If you think that's expensive, look at the LED version!

I have no doubt they are fabulous lights...but not $1400 fabulous.

Hmmm... they just changed a bunch of stuff on the page but I see what your saying the total for two Hella Bi-Xenon headlamp kits is $1387.10. I guess this makes sense because the Hella Bi-Xenon lamps themselves cost $561.99 each ($1123.98 just for the projectors before you add the cost of the brackets and harness) Wow... I guess I can see why they have only sold five kits so far. I would need to see some detailed shots and an extensive review before I dropped that kind of coin. I would need evidence that this setup is better than HIDprojectors.com.

I picked up these lights from Daniel Stern. I'm more than happy with them and the advice I received from Mr. Stern. They are different looking, somewhat of a conversation starter, you might say. They light up the roads on a dark Canadian night, and that's exactly what I wanted.
