Yep - I think it is exactly what you described - baby tires and no fenders are making it look a little funny. Up to this point I have made no changes to the suspension except for changing the shocks to rubi shocks which were donated for free.
What are your suspension plans? I know you wanted 37s with flat flares last time I saw.

I'm still thinking 37s. I have not ordered anything yet but I think I finally decided on the Goodyear MTRs. I'd still like this to be a LCOG jeep because I like the look and I won't have belly drag issues due to not planning on rock crawling in flat Florida. It will be used in more sand and mud verses rocks. So for the suspension - I'm planning to stay stock with trimming and bumpstops. However, once I get the tires and wheels I might change my mind and start looking more at a small lift if needed. I am plannning on getting the tires sometime in the near future so if anyone knows where I can get a set of 4 Goodyear MTRs 37x12.5x17 for less than $400 each, feel free to send me a note.

Thanks.

Discount Tire Direct has the best shipped price I have seen at $410 each. Their wheel prices are good as well.

Sent from inside the Death Star
Thanks! I messaged back with the zip.

Figured I'd add a few more pictures of this weekends work. The new roll bar is all welded in and mostly the grinding has been finished.

I ordered my tires today finally. Hope to have them in a couple of weeks. 37" goodyear MTRs. I'm excited to see how much those will change the look......

Looking good. What wheels you go with? Going to keep it fenderless? This would look sick on rk new 1.5 coils and 37s.
He would be better off doing "19" 4 door front springs with the RK 1.5 triple rate rears I think. The RK 1.5" fronts will give him 3-3.25" front lift even though they are the same as stock length which means a much stiffer ride than stock. The front will ride a whole lot better on "19" front springs especially with how light his 2 door is. I had 19 fronts on my 2 door and they gave 1.75" front lift and rode the same as stock (they are same rate but 1.75" longer than my stock 14 fronts). The rear 60 4 door springs are about the same length as the "54-56" rears but they are quite a bit stiffer as they add about 1.25" lift so they make the rear of a 2 door ride stiff.

I'm planning to keep the stock wheels................. No - I;m kidding. I also ordered a set of the Rugged Ridge XHD 17x9 wheels in black. At some point I'd also like to paint the jeep dark blue due to the fact that my paint job on the areas where I have been cutting and welding are NOT high quality. I think the Black wheels will look good with the blue. We'll see.

As for fenders, I did get a set of Wildboar high clearance fenders that I am working on modifing becasue they looked too soft. I'm working on them to look more like the jeep flattop which is pictured earlier in this thread.

I think I like this idea. Thanks for the suggestion. It looks like there are a number of different OEM JKU springs - Do those come in different rates and would you suggest a specific one?
Thanks.

I might also ask - Is there anyone out there who is looking to get rid of some JKU front springs and/or RK 1.5 rear springs?
