River Raider has started it's latest project.
We are building a low, mean, fast, stretched, rock krawling roadster on 40's.

That is "Lower Forty" in the video. Pretty sure it was the first to stuff 40s underneath a JK with minimal or no lift. I have seen is in person and much like Rockster it is a great custom rig. Any similarities are entirely due to the "cookie cutter" factor.

 

Yeah but from the sketch to the Lower 40....

One is illegal to drive on the road and the other is legal... Fenders for one..

It is a nice looking ride Kenny. I wish we had sand like that on the east coast. Dam that looks like fun....

Does anybody know of any sweet "Big" sand boxes in the north east? We need one!

I noticed a few pics from the PA Jeeps show! It was awesome to see the rig in person there!

To RK, probably the closest thing to a sandbox on the East Coast would be hitting the beach in the Outer Banks. It is pretty flat though.

 

I think we need to see a King of the Hammers run.... who's with me?!?

 

Not exactly east coast but sometimes we used to run up to the Michigan Dunes to have some fun in the sand.

IIRC the whole thing used to be open to OHV recreation but that was over 18 years ago.

Fire Extinguisher Mounts

I know I'm late to the party, but what fire extinguisher mounts were used for the build? You can see them at 1:48 in the YouTube video posted previously in the thread. Screen shot is below.

 

Those are the H3R billet mounts we supplied for the build with chrome Halguard 2.5lb extinguishers.

I know this thread is a little dated, and maybe I missed it somewhere as I'm a picture book kinda guy, but are there any pics of how the winch is setup on this rig? I'm wanting to run the pro-crawler bumpers, but I would like to see how the winch is setup.
