Powder Coating Springs

Has anyone had their springs powder coated?

I found a decent set of Rubi Springs for 120 shipped ( is that a good price?)
(from a 4 door with tow package and hardtop)

I recently started powder coating stuff at my house, I was curious if it would affect the springs at all, I dont see how it will, but better safe than sorry.

I want to do for practice and just to see how it would look. :thefinger:

That would depend on how hot your baking oven gets. Heat treating springs is bad unless you know what you're doing. (I don't, so that's all I can say) I'm also thinking it would just crack off the first time the spring flexes.

375-400 would be the baking tempature for 25 minutes

What about the price that the guy is asking?

Stock OEM Shocks? If so, not a good deal. You can get them free or for just a few $'s on the "Free" section of this form.

the 120 is for the Rubi 4 Door Springs... (with hard top/tow package) just the springs

I have the shocks alreadly.

Ok I will wait!

I put on the Rubi shocks yesterday and what a difference, I cant wait to find the springs!!

you could also scout out the local junk yards for wrecked rubi's. of course there is always the five finger discount stuff.:bounce:

I'll try that as well.
Im looking for 4 Door with Hardtop and tow package,, to get maximum lift.
