OEM fenders ( trimmed) : aftermarket inner fender liner?

At this years Crawlin'for Ried , I saw so many amazing Jeeps .
I don't generally ever compare my Jeep to others but seeing so many JK/JKUs up close for 3days made me notice something; my cutup & ziptied ,stock inner fender liners up front are really ugly .
(this picture is 4 yrs old but reveals what I mean. They're even more cut & stitched now. )

Now, I am all about function , so the Frankenstein liners I have keep mud out ...but, after seeing all the nice inner fender liners , narcissism has kicked in & I am searching w/out much luck .

Anyone have any recommendations for inner, front liner options of aluminium that will work on trimmed factory fender flares ?

I’ve got a pair of poison spider ones that work with my factory trimmed flares. Looking at the mounting points on the ones I’ve got, it looks like artec would also work. Not sure about the others, but I would assume most of them use the same mounting points

DV8 has a really nice set, and believe it or not Smittybilt does as well!!!!

I'm really diggin' your front fender trim job. Reminds me of the Rubi-King awhile back!!!

Thanks for the compliment. I get a lot on the line I chose.
I used a jigsaw and a bottle of 4 roses to cut them as close to
what I thought would look like the JTTruck , Mopar Underground concept vehicle's looked like.

I swear it was by eye & pretty much cut freehand on both sides, lol

I am not sure if I know the jk of which you refer? Picts?

Thanks, y'all.
Great sggstns.

@chris36l
Do those PS liners affix down where our JKUs like to accumulate debris , at pinchseam behind front wheel , securely?

(Fwiw, yours were among those I saw & liked the look of a few weeks ago, bud :wink_animate: )

They seem to close that gap in pretty well. I got these from Travis, and he had already done some trimming to get them to work with the evo fenders he had on his JKUR. They’re on pretty securely, only thing that bothers me at times is the rattle from the screen(not terrible, just too lazy to take them off and tighten all of the nuts and bolts)

I run DV8 Fender liners front and rear on mine, rear fit really well, as do the front, but I did have to trim them to fit around hydraulic bump stop tube and remote resi on my fox shocks, that and a can of paint and I like them fine. I do like the look of the Poison Spyder liners also. My two cents............FWIW

I think they look awesome!
If I didn't find these cheap flebay flatties, that's what I was gonna do.

My Jeep has smittybilt flares and no liner when I got it. I hate the open look personally. So i got the Evo mini liners they look great and it doesn’t have the open unfinished look anymore.

I like the weight advantage of those plus the minimal design ; if I had the arid fortune to match your
location I would probably run those . But , being in the SouthEast , the unavoidable nemesis to all rock crawlers around here is , sadly, inevitable & often unavoidable; mud.

Those liners are far too open , even if the JKs engine bay is what Mopar considers a " wet" one , I can't imagine what damage the grit from accumulated mud would chew thru every moving part pulley or joint under the hood in a season .

But , out there those probably also help keep the heat mitigated .

^this.

I am seeing the same genericism on the - am I really about to reference this - barricade front liners .
I'll check the ACE ones thnks....

ahhh...

that looks better, imho.

I gotta drill the holes & then hit other side but I'm thinking the Artec inners up front are a little more suitable than whatever sh*t I had goin' on up there...

so ,there's that improvement.

Oh, on subject of keeping crud out of niches & crannies w/ aftermarket inners , yes, the ACE Engineering little body panels are cool & serve their purpose however , take a look at how many other places mud & S.Eastern debris now can find to call home :

...I'll have to do something about the billy-rocker gap but not today ....

(edit:

in case anybody ever references this & ,like me , will probably take these on/off multi times annually , you could do like I have & just self-tapping screwed the three rivnut locations' so your usual driver hex 7mm attachment can zip these on & off quickly ...ymmv )

I was initially thinking I'd hit 'em w/ my ' normal' truckbed liner ( like I did the bumper, rockers, corners , everything gets Rust-Oleum truckbed liner ) for them . But, after seeing how clean the "Frame and rollcage black satin" spray looked on the frame & where I coated several places yesterday , I think I may do them satin , frame black so they're easier to clean, ya know? Mud would be easier to make gone than if it's textured.

The rotors are dimpled in a slotted pattern. The type driving we do off-road it's not as advantageous to drill or slot brake rotors. These work well ( EBC ) w thier green stuff pads ...
