That's a fair price. I wouldn't pay any more for it though.

I paid $300 new in the box for the spare for my 4-door (with tinted windows) and I regularly see them an CL for under $500.

 

$600 sounds fair to me, if EVERYTHING is there. Most people end up forgetting to pull the soundbar brackets, which are a little pricey from the dealer. Here's what it should have:

3 windows in a box
door surrounds and knobs for attachig them. Surrounds are in 4 pieces, 6 knobs
top itself, attached to frame
rear window retainer bar, should be rolled up in the top
2 rear window bar retaining clips, I believe they're int he box with the surrounds
2 roll bar brackets - most commonly forgotten piece, without these you're dead in the water, since the top frame attaches to them. If you're Jeep was originally a hardtop only, then you won't have these, they need to be pulled off the Jeep the top came from, which is why they usually get forgotten
4 screws to attached frame to roll bar.

If ANY of it is missing, then it's not worth the price, and you should talk him down based on cost to get it from the dealer and your time to do so.

 

I have seen them on Craigslist for less the 500 but that is out here in CO.

I think if it's the redesigned 2010 model then it's a good deal, since I have yet to see one on Craig's List. For the older design I'd say it's a decent deal though, but they can definitely be found cheaper.

 

Its from an 08. I think I'm gonna take a look at it to verify its condition. He said it was on the jeep when he got it, and he removed it right away.

I'm selling my unopened 4dr top with tinted windows complete for 500 but I'm up in Canada however they are not heavy.

 

Just bought a new factory one off CL for $350 complete with all hardware.

 

nice to see prices coming down....around Indy they seem to still be pulling $500+ with clear windows.

 

$600 is over priced in my mind; $450 to $500 tops if it's in perfect condition. I might go $600 if it was still in the boxes but it having been on the Jeep I'd look for closer to $450. I got mine for $350 after looking for a month or so.
