Damnit Dave, another missed great trail ride!! You better be on the next one, Northumberland is scheduled for Nov. 6 and Rausch for Nov. 13th. If my truck is together by the 5th, I'm making both runs but I'm aiming mainly for Rausch.

dimitri what are you doing that your truck is apart.
I say do the dual battery it may take a while to get but poison spyder is coming out with a cage very soon. Not sure if it will have tie ins for the or fab though or if it will accomplish what poly's does.

Look! Ain't she purdy... not bad for $100!

in the interest of paying it forward, please remember that I have spare driveshafts should anybody need to borrow them. I will not be selling them but they are certainly available for borrowing purposes.

I picked up front and rear drive shafts with 1200 miles on them. gotta love the forums.

by the way is there anything special to removing the front driveshaft? and what's the torque settings on the 8 millimeter and a large bolts?

My front steering is apart. Getting the RK tie rod, new TF stabilizer, pressing new bushings into the TF trackbar, ditching the Woods stabilizer relocation bracket and making a new one.

Yeah, make them TIGHT.

Replicating Poison Spyder's brawler front bumper soon, hopefully before the next run. Need to raise my winch above the frame rails. Damn near every trail ride I'm bashing the piss out of my safety thimble and fairlead. Had to splice my synthetic line twice at the thimble already and I don't know how much longer the fairlead will take a beating without cracking, being that it's aluminum and all. But, upgrading from 3/16" to 1/4" instead.

This one:

My Expedition One Basic has proved to be a good "bumper" throughout it's 2 years, but it's severely bent and at it's last leg. Plus, I see 3/16" can't take a beating too well.

Dimitri I say go with the jks brace that gives you a new flipped position for your ss, or poly makes a nice bracket too. The black jk that had the poly lift at Evans last week had the poly bracket with a fox ss.
Yeah, I do like the PP bracket, that's the same one I'm going to make. I need a flat stock like that, so it won't interfere when the tie rod flexes. My Woods one has gouged at least 1/8" off the tie rod right now since it's bent and makes an awful screech noise when I go full lock on passenger side.

Yeah the black JK Rubi is one of the new members. 5.13s with 37s and PP 3" tube kit. Did VERY well last week up in Mass.

Hey fellers,

So I got a rattling noise when I accelerate. It is intermittent but I can make it start if I almost let the truck stall out. I have no loss in performance, but rattling isn't a fun noise to hear from the engine. Any ideas?

Exhaust related. Maybe crossover pipe on tranny skid, or a cat shield vibrating.
