Should have known that was going to happen .
He broke what appears to be a stock axle shaft after multiple trips. Depending on year model he could even have the puny version of those shafts. Id say that's pretty good considering that according to pretty much everyone on this site the second you bolt on a 40" tire the axle is supposed to grenade as you tighten the last lug nut.

Then we started testing IBP's with only 3" of lift and 4" of up travel. Pics from Thanksgiving at JV.

We were also managed to bend the front axle. Testing is hard on vehicles!

Doh... that sucks...but how'd the testing go?

Testing went really well and I was blown away how well it worked for the first time in the dirt with IBP's and 4" of up travel. With that little up travel every tiny bit of travel needs to be perfectly controlled to deliver the ride quality and performance expected from bypass shocks. We still have more to do, but it's pretty damn close. Hope to have it wrapped up in the next month.

We've been tuning and wheeling up a storm, as well as testing some new products.

Here are some pics from wheeling at New Years.

How do you like the BFG Baja on the rocks? Do you drive them on the highway as well?

Any hints to the new products being tested?
I love the BFG's, they aren't stickies but they hook up incredibly well!

We have driven them on the street but they wear down very quickly, so we keep it to a minimum.

High clearance geometry correction kit
Our high clearance geometry correction kit will be the next product out, it fixes a lot of JK problems:

Jeep JK's on short arms have poor driveability, and feel like they're all over the road. Even on smooth roads they dart different directions with a small turn of the steering wheel. Root cause isn't caster, it's roll oversteer. Previously every bump in the road steered the chassis in different directions, now our JK now drives straight as an arrow with 4 deg of caster. The lower caster (down from 6 deg) also fixed our front driveshaft vibration.

Rear drive shaft clearance. With the new geometry the axle doesn't steer when you articulate so the driveshaft gets a lot more clearance with the gas tank.

Anti-squat & anti-dive. 4"+ lifted JK's have tons of both, the rear lifts on the gas and the front doesn't dive. We put a lot of effort into making this feel right and improve traction. So the JK will squat a little bit when on the gas and will dive a little bit on the brakes.

Higher clearance. The links are now basically on the centerline of the axle and the chassis side stays at the same height as OEM.
