Here are the pictures....I drilled through the back bar (same bar that child car seat restraints are on) to secure the shoulder harness strap, same mount area for the center seat part of the lap belt, then drilled through the outside seat bracket (THICK steel) for the outside lap belt mounting point. Worked out great!

If anyone has Rothe's ever pictures of the seat melt install, I'd be greatly appreciative if you could post them.. thanks.

yepper...had my 12 year old son strap in and adjust and worked out great! Going to order a second one to put on the other half of the seat and will be a fully functioning 7 passenger JKU!

 

put on the second Corbeau seat belt so I have seatbelts for all 3 seats (3 rows)! :bounce2: Unfortunately for the last seat belt I have to go to the hardware store and pick up another bolt to mount the shoulder harness attachment. UGH

 

I like these! this has to be one of the most difficult decisions I have ever tried to make! haha

 

haha....me too. I spent a lot of time looking around for what I was going to do for seatbelts. I saw the other seat options for kids after I started down the road with this mod and still stayed the course. My kids are going to get bigger with time and those kid seats they will outgrow...this one they will still fit!

yepper...that's the bar you have to drill through. can still use the center seatbelt mounting hole or drill through that same plate to mount new seat belts. Then I drilled a hole through the center of the bracket on the side of the seat and mounted the other bolt for the lap belt.

 

i am going to go find those belts! i have yet to open the lap belts.... $15 a piece.... how much are the harnesses and where are you getting them from?
