Anyone have a zone budget boost on their jk? If so what is the quality of the lift and ride
A budget boost (coil spacer lift) will ride close to the same as stock. The BDS shocks will be softer than stock.

I don't have a Zone lift on my JK, but I helped a friend install a 3" Zone on his 08 Rubi Unlimited last weekend. Essentially, they are BDS lifts without the no questions asked warranty. The install was easy.

He has put about 600 miles on it (mostly freeway/highway) during the last week and is very happy with the lift. With the longer links and shocks, I am sure it does fine offroad.

I believe they are Hydro shocks. At least, they are a much softer ride than the stock Rubi shocks.

However, eventually he will want longer front lower control arms to regain his caster. With a 3" or taller lift, the reduction in caster makes for a more flighty drive. We will toe-in his alignment from 1/16" to 1/8", which should help in the meantime.

When he adds a front winch and aftermarket bumper, he will need to add a 1/2" to 1" front coil spacer to fix the forward rake.

I ran a BDS lift on my 04 TJ for some time. I eventually purchased all Teraflex adjustable control arms, but still run the BDS springs and shocks. I like softer BDS ride.
