First time Jeep owner, a 2013 Unlimited Sahara, one of those "I always wanted one of those things" thing that I can now scratch off my bucket list.

Completely new to "It's a Jeep thing"

Also have an '03 Harley Road King, not new at that at all.

If I ask a stupid question tell me it's stupid but answer it anyway.

Ride Free

I'm just outside West Philly in DELCO.

Welcome to the madness. What are your plans for the jeep?

Love those new Sahara rims.
For now I'd like to get beefier tires, but there's nothing but moths in the wallet. Never been off roading, would like to take a ride on the beach, but for now, it's just my daily driver.

Be sure and wave to Dancin' Dan. It's part of the "Jeep Thing" :D

No problem answering, but I'm uncomfortable saying something is stupid. Is it OK if I just imply the hell out of it?

X2 - I've never seen those. They look like keepers!

Dan, if he waves to you, will you show him where the extreme malls are? :shitstorm:

Cool. I grew up in DelCo. My parents still live in Marple Twp.

Riding on the beach can get expensive in Jersey. Most places that allow it require a permit. If you're more of a down the shore guy - wildwood, sea isle, etc, you will find you can't run the beach much during the season, but further North in places like Brigantine, you can.

I've been practicing the two finger hold the wheel wave, is that the best one to use, or should I open the door stand on the running board and frantically wave like crazy?

Sure, I'm pretty good at reading between the lines.

Just being in Jersey could be considered extreme :thankyou:

I'm in the Upper Darby/Lansdowne area.

As for NJ, I lived there for a few years many many moons ago, back around when the first casino, Resorts, opened. I drove a Pinto onto the AC beach, made it pretty far, but didn't make it out, not without a winch anyway.

I've been to Brigantine, never with a 4x4. I'd like to drive it once, for old times sake. Not a big fan of NJ, sorry BIGTom, as the 2A freedoms I enjoy in PA stop halfway across the Delaware River in a big way.

Took off the Wrangler and Sahara stickers and replaced them with these ..... Note: the Punisher & POW/MIA decals are reflective black, the Flag & DTOM are dark charcoal.
