Hey I am new to this site but I have a double din unit I recently purchased and because of the modification that has to be done when I took it to a professional installer they said it couldn't happen even though they had a kit that said it would fit. I honestly do not feel comfortable installing personally so does anyone know an installer that will do this? Or a way I can explain for it to be done before they just say it wont fit? I know theres a bracket that has to come out, but unsure otherwise. I am also in the Virginia Beach area in case anyone knows an installer who may do this. Thanks for any help.

It will work, not sure of the kit you have but there is a Electronic part of the forum you can search.

I have a Kenwood DNX890HD and it fits..

I would check with another shop if you're not comfortable doing it. I just finished doing mine and its a tight fit and some modification to the original bracket is required, but it can be done. Good luck.
