Crane Hi Clearance and TNT customs met up for the fun at the 7th annual
Wind River 4x4 rally in Lander, Wyoming.
Great folks, fun trails, great food and an amazing setting. About 150 miles east of Yellowstone park, the Wind River area offers moderate wheeling, fishing and great camping at the Sleeping Bear RV park.

This was the maiden voyage for the new Crane 4dr JK armored with our covers and the great parts and help from the Bob and Mike at TNT the underside was well protected. We arrived late Friday night and ran the "Pete's Lake" trail Saturday morning. The trail started out a pretty easy two track, then as we got to within a 1/2 mile of the lake the rocks got bigger and slippery from run off...The trees, snow drifts and dead fall started closing in at mile 7 to the point chain saws would have been needed, so we headed back down.
From what the trail leaders were telling us this was late to still see this volume of snow.
Sunday was the show and shine/vendor expo at the city park then home.

Great trip, met some nice folks.

Josh

The Crane JK is being built in stages, basic Zone 3" lift, Crane Covers (of course), and a fully armored underside (bumpers coming soon) from TNT customs.
Tires, wheels, 5.13 gears and ARBs are next.
I'll be at the Mile High Jeep club "All 4 Fun" in Silverton Colorado July 31-August 6th. Hope to see you there.!!!

This is an awesome grassroots event, I highly recommend it. Great people & trails and well the Smokin Ace did his usual outstanding job with the BBQ  We'll definitely have this event on the calendar for next year!

Nice scenery:

Lots of water in the Wind River range

Early summer means dodging down trees:

We opened several trails over the weekend.

If you are ever in the Lander, WY area and you need a place to stay checkout Sleeping Bear RV Park Dave aka "Papa Bear" and his wife Chriss run a nice clean & quiet campgrounds.
