WHEEL DECISION

I am debating on getting wheels for my Rubicon. It's not used for off road so I think I may keep my stock tires. My truck is Flame Red so I think I may go with black wheels. I found a set ( I don't know if I'm allowed to mention the name cause I don't want to get booted like what happened to me at another site!!) that were black with a red trim. Anyone have any suggestions or pics?? Thanks for the help

Yup, show us what you are looking at... there is no shortage of opinions around here... and yeah.. you can say what you want and link to what you want here.... crazy idea huh!

Kind of :grinpimp:"pimptacular":grinpimp:...but who cares if you like em. You said you won't be off-road with the Jeep, so no worries about rock-rash. Find what you like and check to see that it comes in the correct bolt pattern and back-spacing.

To be fair- most hardcore guys would laugh at these if on the trail, but who cares. There are a lot of black rims on the market these days. Don't limit yourself. Be sure that what you buy will be exactly what you will be happy with for a long time. jmo

Funny true story... probably gonna offend some people :thefinger:

When I was shopping for wheels and was in the local 4WheelParts store (I got Pro Comp 8069's BTW) my girl saw a Rockstar wheel and tire on display and said out loud,

"Who would put that on their Jeep... that is the gayest wheel I have ever seen!"

Guess what the guy at the counter was ordering for his truck....... :thefinger:

I love my baby!

She still makes fun of them whenever she sees them.

Yup... at the end of the day it is YOUR money and YOUR rig.. do with both as you please.

But if you ASK what we think... well, that is a whole different story.

I would wheel with anyone with Rockstars or whatever other wheel you can think of... just don't mind the giggles from my g/f. ;)

Good luck with your wheel choice.. it is a fun, if not frustrating descision to make because it really is all about the way it looks... round is round... aren't to many different ways of making them function.
