OOgly ass chrome wheels that don't belong on a jeep.:thefinger:
mmm appreciate your perceptive comment and I have reeled from chrome before but you're beating up on a tough black JK Jeeper!

This is my current JK

This is my new 05 TJ with just 20,000 miles arriving from Darwin in northern Australia to Albany on the south coast.

I think they are American Racing wheels not sure on the model though. They may not even make that model anymore.
Thanks. I just want a new set of centre caps but also nice to know what wheels you're running. I really like these chromies which is a big thing for me because I'm a black wheel man.

If the chrome is not peeling you could always acid etch the chrome and spray them black or graphite colored if the chrome gets old.

Wondering if the caps are from something else originally or if the Indian emblems were actually adhered to the caps for a custom look... idk.

Interesting thought. I have the TJ arriving from Darwin in a week or so. I will then conduct a detailed inspection! From the history of the TJ it is unlikely that it has been fiddled with to this extent.

Even so no where on the net has a cap design or wheel been found that matches this design.

They aren't AR Atlas wheels. But as to what they are, I can't tell. I don't think that the center cap came with that logo from the factory. In the picture it kinda looks like it has been adhered to a stock cap. I would guess that the emblem on the cap came from the 60's. Maybe something on an old Pontiac.
