well the least lift to clear 33"s would be zero!
as long as your rims have enough backspacing or if you use some high quality spacers you're good to go.
As for the bumper- a 3/4" leveling spacer should help out with that.
THE 33" ON 17" NO LIFT IS NEEDED /// I KNOW THE TURNING WILL BE AFFECTED BUT EASY FIX "DONT TURN ALL THE WAY" :D :D HEY THANKS FOR THE REPLY:beer:
On my 2 door JK, prior to trading in for an unlimited, I ran a 2" BB with 33's and it was great. Took it to MOAB with that setup and had a blast.

This is what it looked like:

That sure is a clean jeep, looks really good. I hope to go that route as well. That is as soon as the money fairy descends from the heavens and sprinkles money dust on me. Maybe I can find that tree my mother said I thought money grew on!

Here is my JK with 305/70-16 BFG's AT/KO's. Procomp 8179 w/4.25 BS and no lift. Drives fine, extreme right turn will hit. Off roading it will definitely hit.

Here are some picts:
