Looking for some input (although most of you are batshit crazy sometimes you have good ideas). I currently have what i belive to be a 2" spacer lift(came on jeep) the front of my jeep sits a little low, moreso now with a soft top. now in the end id like to have a 2.5" rock krawler spring lift with 8 arms but i dont have the funds for it right now. So im wondering if i should just by new or used 2.5 springs for the front now and just leave everything else stock or should i go cheaper and get 2.5 front spacers for now or i could just leave it alone for now. Another issue is i have a front axle with some stuff on it. im running reid kunckles with a poly flipped drag link, now this puts my drag link very close to hitting my frame (it may if i jump but dont plan on that) also has a relocated track bar mount (this axle came from a jeep with a 3 link and coilovers) so right now with the stock track bar everything actually works good, my track bar and drag link are almost perfectly flat and even with each other. other thing is the fox shocks i have are for 0-2 lift (when put next to stock ones they are only a 1" or less longer) now to help with that i moved my lower shock mount up a 1" or so (actually used the coil over mount that was on axle and just made a tab to move it up) im more looking for good droop than compression because of my drag link so close to my frame (i can notch frame if needed) So i was thinking to stay cheaper right now get 2.5" springs and maybe those shock extensions that go on the top mount???

Just an observation. One thing that will benefit you is to get rid of the drag link flip for now. You don't have enough lift to run it, usually 3" is the minimum to start flipping stuff, that's why you are having clearance issues with the frame, but that's just my opinion.

trouble with that is i dont have a stock knuckle or drag link. it hasent hit yet and i didnt go to a bigger bump stop yet but i also havent wheeled it hard since i did this either. im kinda leaning to just spend the money and get the RK 2.5 flex kit and add from there. get 3" bumpstops in the front to be on the safe side.

oh and my steering is awesome like this, zero bump steer with no stablizer, well there is one but its smashed

You can definitely start with the 2.5" flex kit and upgrade as you feel fit! a 3" bump stop up front will keep your draglink flip from being an issue and your best bet for shocks is to take a look at our recommend extended and collapsed lengths and see where your shocks fall compared to that. They are most likely going to be short for what we like to see... typically we set our travel up at 1/3 up travel and 2/3 droop.

I agree with RK. Get the springs and upgrade as you are able. The shocks that you have now will work fine until you are able to upgrade them as well. They might just limit your droop a little.
