Working like hell to have coilovers through the tub, custom fuel cell, and a DT 4 link on my two door and keep it for kids. Most challenging part of my build is keeping the back seat.

My rear seat out of my JK is in my man cave collecting dust. I am still debating on whether to sell it or not.

 

Aahhhh anyone in the ct area want to chuck a seat for a jku please for gods sake lemme know! I have the bucket conversion and am looking oem.

 

Anyone in S. Texas looking to unload their rear 2-door seats for CHEAP, let me know. Maybe we can work something out.

I'm in the San Antonio area and willing to drive an hour or two (or 5 if the deal is that good).

 

JKU Rear seat. Count down begins. Travelin in 6 days, if not sold, goin in the dumpster. I can travel to Worcester Ma.

Tossed. Never did like that heavy some-biatch. It's in a landfill up in Mass-a-2-shits.

 

I ditched that short-seated, back-killing bench for two front bucket seats in the back. My 2 kids are VERY happy! :thankyou:

 

If I absolutely MUST have a back seat for some ungodly reason that I can NOT foresee, I will go that route and source two bucket seats for back there.

Now you gotta tell us how much of a pain in the ass it was to mount them there 2 front seats in place of the beanch seat.

 

Actually, it was a piece of cake!

I got the MasterCraft Safety JK seat brackets from Amazon and drilled my own holes to utilize the factory sliding seat rails (most don't use the sliders). I wanted the flexibility of movement as my son is 13 and almost 6 feet tall. I do plan to take everything back out and chop 2 inches of height out of the seat brackets. With the sliders on the bottom of the seat, it pushes the seats up a bit.

Dang those brackets are almost perfect for mounting a deck to make the entire rear end level after rear seat removal. They look like they might be just an inch or so to tall though.

Thats actually a pretty sweet idea, especially if you went to suspension seats in the front.. just move the old ones to the back..

 

Left mine at the dealership. I have a 2 dr.>>useless, extra weight.
