I just replaced one of my rear Ten Factory shafts due to a bent flange. I was able to get just one side. I called and ordered it from Northridge.

Ten Factory does warranty bent flanges but mine were purchased used and I did not have the original receipt so I wasn't able to warranty it

Got my big ass tire carrier from northridge today. This thing is massive. It'll look great on my rig though.

Very nice. So this is the last one right?

I got my first northridge arrival of the day. Via fedex as it came direct from poison spyder.
One pair upper front metalcloak arms to come tonight. One pair lower front tomorrow.

But todays task:

Drill baby drill.

One side done and im calling it a day. They sure are a PITA to do the nutserts. Especially when crappy harbor freight tool broke half way through.
But im gonna do the other side with the supplied tool and wrenches. Found it less hassle.

Fairly close match to the bumper paint so im happy

Had a bent flange on my passenger rear Ten Factory axle shaft. The brake squeak was driving me crazy so I replaced it with a new one.

Old Ten Factory shaft had some twisting too, I was surprised. But it was easily half as much as one of my old OEM shafts.

All done, and I can see why Jason described it as a pain in the ass.
Though id say a pain in the hands, and the legs, and the knees.
Second one went much faster, and much easier with the wrenches id say.
Only drama , a f*****g squirrel dropped a rotten avocado on my head as I was nearly done.
Next purchase will be a bb gun.

Aluminum,
Ill be using where possible and not in areas that will get frequently bashed. Steel painted to match where ill be grinding regularly.
So a silver bfh front, or maybe the vks shorty.
synergy heat reduction hood plate in aluminum, and eventually genright aluminum carrier.
Flares undecided. Maybe metalcloak as I like there inners. Nobodies aluminum ones float my boat.
Bit of a mixup but nobody does what id like all round.
Light, minimal, light

Before I had the deck I thought of building one and u-bolting, or exhaust clamping it to the rollbar. Uses a wasted space and recovers the room used up by that big factory lump.
A few quick calculations tells me I might get standing waves at 550 hz 1100 and 2200, but I hope the woofer crossover frequency is such that no f#&s are to be given.

Completed 5:38's install, installed 2 more irok radial 36x13.5r17's, fixed a bunch of minor things. Rebalanced all four wheels. A shop near me has a wicked wheel balancer system. My shake in the vehicle is gone.

Discovered that at full droop on hoist the rear drivers tire is pulled over so much it hits the rear trackbar. Temporary fix is limit straps until I get a triangulated three point kit. Have to look at this problem closer. It is not a huge problem if I don't jump the jeep. Articulating the rear the tire won't hit the rear trackbar.

Suggestions or threads would be a good read.
