I bought a Rubicon Express lift for my unlimited. Found it on Craigslist at a great price. Here is the lift I got http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Lift-...Express Suspension Type_PQ=SUPER-FLEX SHORT ARM&Manufacturer_PQ=Rubicon Express It only has 2000 miles on the kit, but the lift springs are for a 2 door. This will only net 2.5" of lift on an Unlimited though. So, do you guys think I should run these springs or sell them and buy a set of 3.5" springs? I do have one inch spacers, but I was concerned about flex. I plan on running 37's and will be trimming the fender flares. Anyone have a 2.5" lift with 37's?

That's a good question for Modified Tech. You should get some good feedback.

Built a very simple front bumper. Just finished cutting the bumper for the Warn fairlead. Turned out just the way I wanted simple light and tight. I think I will put recovery tabs on it later to match the back. I will put a stinger on it later when I can bend some tube or find someone local to do it for me.

I just finished designing one of these in SolidWorks and am currently trying to find someone to cut it out on a CNC router (I can't saw anything worth a shit) and really like yours. You say that you trussed the center; that's an issue I was wondering about myself. Do you have any pics of how you did that?

Thanks,
-WRM

I made it out 3/4 inch plywood , added 1/4 inch of bedliner. Trussed up the center. I stood on it after it is all loaded up and it's solid. I used the existing the hard top holes to secure it. Made it to Fresno without incident. I am going to trail test it this weekend then I'm going to really trail test it on the Rubicon Labor Day!!!!
