Jim & I sawz-alled my exhaust bolts, and replaced them, pulled the armor underneath, changed the ATF & Filter, and Oil & Filter (Mobil 1 of course), and I'm proud to say that no polishing or frame shining occurred.

Transfer case fluid change, and air system modifications scheduled for Jeep Night...

so i was trying to post the actual voicemail but i was able to send the text version to myself via email so here is what the dealer left on my voicemail....

"Spencer this is Jason calling from normandy chrysler jeep wanted to give you a call and let you know we got your wrangler checked out ... it does in fact need to have your catalytic converters replaced ... but in order to do that you're gonna have to get the actually there's a couple of supports that are gonna need to be replaced because they are smashed need a transmission Cross support with the transmission mount ... transfer case shield Cross support is gonna need to be replaced as well ... but to do all of that including replacement catalytic converter and all the Bolts and what not you're look at almost 3000 dollars to do this ... parts alone or just over 2000 bucks so anyway ... and it does need to be ordered it'll take 3 to 5 days get all the parts here so if you could give me a call back let me know ... what you'd like us to do with anything my direct number here is (xxx) xxx-xxxx thank."

I'd look for a pick n pull with a wrecked one n go grab your parts n put her back together

drove it to work and its just y pipe at the moment had to use a sawzall to get that bitch off so now i need to weld up the rest of the exhaust.


im so used to driving my work car that i forgot what it was like to drive the jeep... felt like it was trying to kill me then again it has been 2 months it might be angry...

I cut out some brackets to mount lights to the windshield pillar. I cut a bracket to relocate the vacuum pump to the engine compartment, and re-routed the wires/hoses. Then spent the better part of two days installing my winch behind the factory bumper. To finish it all off, I made a plate to attach the license plate to the fairlead with mag lite clips.

All I did was wash the jeep this week but the garage got an overhaul. Coated the floor, painted the walls a few finishing touches this week but a much better space to park the jeep.
