Drove the Jeep around tonight. Calibrated the speedo and turned the TPMs off. I also lowered the tire pressure from 45psi (WTF) to 35psi ... Rides mucho better. I think I could go down to 32psi for a little softer ride.

As far as handling goes. I'm pretty happy. Even being as high as I am the Jeep handles well. The 4.10 gears are doing fine. Although I haven't tried to use anything over 4th gear yet.

 

I'd do a chalk test on those tires, I'd bet even at 32 psi you're going to wear unevenly. I'm at 28 psi on my 33's.

 

35 psi, makes my kidneys hurt. I think you are 35 tires right? I would run closer to 25-27psi. JMO

Just sold 20Lb CO2 tank; that was standing in driver front corner of the trunk. Moved Poly Baja Basket inside on the Bestop Flexatrunk. Perfect fit.

Finally got around to installing my RIPP longtube headers.


Combined with the MBRP high clearance exhaust, the thing sounds like a damn beast.

Now I need to break outthe diablo and send in my stock tune for them to customize.

I miss having a bad ass stereo setup. I am jealous

 

Did the rear brake pads today. Nearly 60K out of them which is pretty darn good seeing how much that thing weighs. Having a manual probably helps also.
Anyway I found out that the parking break adjuster on my passenger side had backed all the way off, so I have probably been using one side. Adjusted them both so now 3 clicks on the brake locks them up. Next time you guys have the tires off you might want to check them.

Ran fused power from my winch fuse to a marine high amp terminal on the Airaid side panel. Easy, quick power to clamp the VTC to.

Found a little buddy for my rig yesterday. 1968 military trailer; haven't figured out the model yet. In great shape, even better price.
