Installed Smittybuilt Neoprene seat covers. Bought VisionX Tantrums from a JKO user and should be receiving them today via UPS. Ordered a PSC evap skid and shuold hopefully get it by Friday so I can install and wheel the shit outta' my rig Saturday! :bounce:

Also discovered that I didn't have my TrekTop secured on the door surrounds properly. All fixed now, though. :D

In December I was given a ticket for a "potential future pebble projectile violation", which is otherwise known as CA State Code 27600, and states that you must have mudflaps covering large tires.

Four months and five trips to the courthouse, one set of removable mudflaps, and one friend-of-a-friend officer's signature later, and I'm good to go.

All done!

Installed Synergy Ball Joints. Ball joints are leaps and bounds better than factory. I was waitng for the HF balljoint press to grenade, but it held up. I don't know how much more it will take though. My breaker bar and floor jack handle extension were flexing hard too. Balljoint replacement took 90% of my DW away. Replaced my Rubicon Express trackbar with Synergy adj front trackbar and trackbar brace. The Rubicon Express trackbar is designed to be used with REs frame side drop down bracket and is too wide to be used in the stock location. REs trackbar is strong but Poly's appears to be built stronger.

Next phase:

Address bad control arms and bushings

Address bumpstops and steering stops.

Replace REs draglink with Synergy draglink.

Gotta get that RE taste out of my mouth. :thefinger:

I'm tossing the idea around of installing my VisionX Tantrum LED Rocklights tomorrow, making some mods to my OBA system, etc., tomorrow at my place in Turlock.

If I do, anyone is welcome to stop by for a Stella, Hefeweizen, or Bud Light, if you're in the area. The fridge is always stocked with liquids. :D

a huge thanks to Chris (FastTrack) and his father in law Pat. Ive had the idea for a while to hack up my rancho stubby front bumper and mount a recessed winch. I'm lacking in the fabrication skills department, but Pat made my idea a reality. He finished it up yesterday and we got some paint on it and mounted it all up. its working perfect and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I decided to be different and paint the bumper in a dark green, kinda old school jeep style. well I painted the fairlead, d rings and bolt heads all black. I really like how it turned out. I decided to also paint the rubi sliders to match, same green on the body, and flat black painted the end caps. I may paint up the rear bumper to match too, I just have make sure I still like the color before going through all that. here it is:

ok this week I put on a new front winch bumper from Shaffer's Offroad. awesome bumper, and you can NOT beat their price $199 with the stinger.
also installed a rear tire carrier bumper. (thank you sfccotton). then for the grand daddy i installed some new rear coilovers, and HOLY shit my 37s look small now, so I am jumping up to either 39.5 or 41" IROKS, oh yeah Jeep goes in the shop next week to have ford 9" axles installed front and rear will be running 513 gears with detroits front and rear. check out the pics

Wow, Go big or go home. Nice going building that beast.
No kidding about the price on that bumper. I saw that on Shaffers site and almost called thinking it was a misprint. Great deal on that.
