I just got my Cragar Soft 8 steel wheels yesterday. They feel so heavy? I have been running the Stock 16 x 7 Jeep wheels with 33 inch Nitto Terra Grappler tires.

Anybody know how much more the steel wheels weigh over the stock wheels? I read something on here a few weeks ago about how much weight you can hang on the stock JK spare tire mount on the tailgate?

Am I going to notice the weight difference going from stock to Steelies?

i just happen to have one sitting around waiting to get its rubber.. its a 16x8 and its about 30ish lbs (scales kind of messed up and is off a few lbs) what size tire did you mount on them??

Ive got 285/75 - 16.

I currently have the tires mounted on the Stock 16 x 7 wheels, but the tire is rounding out due to the wheel being only 7" narrow, I am going to move the tires onto the new 16 x 8 steel Cragar wheels.

i see... it shouldnt effect how it drives very much from experience but you'll prollly get more answers in awhile
