Thinking about heading out to URE next weekend (8/10). Thinking about heading out Friday after work and camping till Sunday morning/lunch, anyone interested on coming out? I'll most likely be out there rain or shine unless sometime comes up at work.

Damn I'm booked that weekend. I was trying to swing the tatas event in PA but I'm busy Friday and Saturday.
I'm under four hours from Goldsboro to URE.

I plan on camping off of Daniel, that area if you turn right at the 3pt turn when going up from cotton wood entrance. Will be down at the Outpost by 8:30am till 9:30 on sat morning.

how were the trails?

I was out there a couple of weeks ago and with all the rain they had really changed.

Dang. We must have just missed you. We left Mooresville around 4pm and when we got to Rockwell/Richfield the bottom dropped out. It rained until we had been out on the trails about 30 minutes. I like it. Makes it more challenging/fun. I think I got back to Mville between 12 and 1am.

We're gonna do more night rides. More time on Saturday to take care of "responsibilities, less heat, less traffic on the trails, etc. It was good.
