My new to me 2014 2 door sport just got a U0127 code which means lost communication with tpms.

The Jeep only has 40k and the monitors are original, so I'm pretty sure the batteries are dying.

Does anyone know what to expect for cost to replace?

I may do tires as long as I'm paying the labor to get to the monitors.

I bought my TPMS (5 pcs) from Amazon for my 2016 JKU (433mhz) sometime in 2020. I had them installed all five ($8/EA) in 2021 when I changed my wheels and new tires. It's now 2025 and all are still doing good 👍. I plan to change my wheels back to the 2016 Wrangler Bronze/Copper tires soon; I want to keep the original look (2016 JKU 75th Edition).

Update on TPMS

I had all 5 monitors replaced with new tires. The shop was able to reprogram them and can read them with their scanner but the Jeep still can't. I've driven almost 100 miles and still nothing. I checked the fuse and it's good.

My question is if I replace the tpms receiver module will I have to have a shop reprogram again or will it be able to connect automatically?
