Hey all I'm looking for some info on running a larger tire size. What I have is a 2007 wrangler sahara JKU with a 1.75" front only leveling kit with KMC XD spy series 17×8 wheel with 5.21" of backspace I'd like to know if I can run a 285/70/17 Tire without any issues including aggressive off roading? I'd really like to run a 305/65/17 but I don't know if that would fit either. Any info would be appreciated

"aggressive off-roading?"
Not sure what that means to you, as the definition is very subjective, but assuming you mean you'll fully stuff the tires into the fender well, you'll get some rub with 285s, and definitely rub with 305s

Some prefer not to have spacers for really aggressive off-roading - do you have any other mods? Stock shocks? connected sway bars? Rocker guards? Those will be rate-limiting factors, too.

Search the forums for "what fits" and you'll find a very exhaustive list of sizes and tricks to mitigate interference.
