Is it possible to mount spare tire on hood of JK like old Land Rovers ?
please if anyone has hows visibility pix maybe ?

More like tire "THROUGH" the hood!

As far as I can see the hood's just plain not strong enough, and there's no way you could see around/over a tire on it :laughing:

I've driven an old Rover with the tire on the hood. There is a reason they quit doing it. You can't see XXXX!!!

There was a pretty extensive thread about this on the jk-forum a while back. Seems like guy even rested a tire on the hood to check the view. They came to the same conclusion. It would have to be a skinny tire maybe even recessed into the hood. Then like Ipe mentioned it would crush the flemsy hood so a support of some kind would have to be fabricated.
