I have the same bumper and use the rock hard mount/led light.
x2....get with PhilD and he can hook you up. You will also want the Mopar Rubber Boot that fills the factory license plate hole when you remove the factory mount. There are quite a few of us running this especially the Texas crew from what I can tell in everyone's photos.

I ordered mine for $8 from moparpartsamerica only because Phil was out of stock at that time. Remember we have vendors who sell mopar! :)

I moved mine to the top of the hard top, also made a second that replaces the center cap on the spare for when I have the hard top off.

I mounted mine in the garage. Actually it is laying on the floor. Not required in Illinois. Been running without it for three years.

I did the same thing Jacktuttle did. Just a sawz-all, file, and black RTV. Drilled two holes through the hardtop into the interior and secured the light with a couple all-threads, lock washers, and nuts. Works like a charm and looks good too.

FYI. Center High Mounted Stop Lamps (CHMSL) have been standard equipment on all new passenger cars sold in the United States since model year 1986 and all new light trucks since model year 1994, as required by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108. :bawling:

Check with your local/State vehicle code to verify if this is enforced...

In California, If your vehicle was manufactured in 1987 or later, and came equipped with a supplemental (third) stoplamp, which is required by the federal safety standards, then you are required to keep the vehicle in conformance with that standard. (Veh C 24603, subd. (h).) In other words, if your car has a third light, it is illegal to remove it.

Why give someone a reason to pull you over? Same goes here for the front license plate... :pissed:
