When I start up the jeep and it's cold (keep in mind Arizona cold) and put in the clutch I hear a HORRIFIC high pitched squeal. It goes away after I take my foot off the clutch and doesn't do it again after the jeep idles for about 10 seconds. Any thoughts? Throw out bearing? :)

Thanks!
Mike

Does it start as soon as there is pressure on the clutch (i.e. when you first start pushing the pedal), or not until the pedal is fully depressed?

If it starts as soon as there is pressure on the clutch pedal I'd guess throw out bearing. If it's quiet until the pedal is fully down, could be the pilot bearing.
