I have a Ramsey Patriot 9500 UT. When it was new, I pulled the cable and replaced it with a Viking synthetic line with a thimble on it. Easy and no issues. Sold off the unused cable and electronic RF remote to pay for the synthetic line.
I have since performed numerous winchings of other vehicles - never my own unless you count the time I winched my E46 back up the driveway after a failed bump start with dead battery.
My favorite winching was bringing a Ford Exploder up the stairs at Slick Rock. All I got for that was two friggen budwisers but the experience and the video I shot are worth way more.
More recently, I carefully unstitched the Viking thimble and picked up a Factor55 FlatLink, synthetic rope spool and a Fast Fid.
Going together was just like the Factor55 video on the fast fid. I have yet to perform a winching with the new setup but the fast fid is always in the glovebox now in case of a break. Great tool.
I was wondering: some Wrangler JK online retailers say "with air conditioning".
Does it mean that there are two different serpentine belts? Will that one work if a Wrangler JK doesn't have A/C?
It's a bit confusing.
Engine light came on. It started to idle rough. I got code P0301. Took it to stealership since it is under the powertrain warranty and they told me it is not covered. Does anyone have any advice on where to learn on how to change fuel injectors?
Thanks in advance!

I have a 2014 automatic unlimited rubicon with a teraflex 3" full 8 flexarm lift kit, 35" tires and I am going to install Yukon 4.88 R&P.
Should I install a transmission cooler. I have been reading some threads regarding an over heating problem. And if so, any recommendations?
I recently killed my JK and need to replace the motor. I was on Vacation while it happened and so now i can't seem to figure out the best way to move it 3000 miles. Going from TN to Montana. Worst case scenario is i rent a 16ft moving truck from penske or budget, rent a car hauler and tow it to...
