You can probably swap a 5.3 for cheaper than a hemi...especially if Motech releases the bare bones kit he mentioned a while ago.


Are you planning on doing the swap yourself? If you are doing all the labor, then a swap can be done around 10K but if you are going to pay someone then the difference in cost between swapping and supercharging are ALOT bigger...

This is the part that many people fail to add into the "cost" of a motor swap. If you aren't doing the work it turns into a $20k project real fast.
