i went for wheeling today with my friend it had rained a tad but i
didnt think that the mudhole was much more swollen compared to last
weekend. so i ease intesting the water because i remember a little hole that
drops down and then goes back up. so we were doing fine and when we got
after that little hole westarted questioning it. i was sure wwe would get stuck
if we stopped in put in r so i went forward well soon as te rear tire hit that
hole all the tires lost traction.so we were there the right side was on the high
side thank goodness i got maybe an inch of water in the driver side.i call
chunks and give him a sitrep. hes at the braves game so he gives judas a call
and he there withing 5- 10 minutes. i had my freind on the hard top thinking
he would be able to get the hook on the rear hook. he couldnt figure it out so
i get out the window well my boots that were supposed to be water proof
werent.and they werent above the ankles yet so im like darn. so i get around
to the rear and im short so my arms couldnt reach it. so im like whatever im
getting wet anyway so i try and rool my pants a little and i hop in it was a
little above the knee. i get the hook and i get over to the passenger side and
i just tell my freind to get back in the driver seat he is dryer than me so i just
decided to walk back. at first judas' jeep was slippin so he readjusted and
then it budged and we got it back to shore. i asked him if i needed to check
anything and he said watch the temp as you prolly killed your fan it was fine
on the way home normal. i thought i had killed it but my freind said it was
going im gonna keep and eye on the temp for a while tho. the fan has been
smoking everytime it gets wet so its gonna be a spal soon. we left and
everything was ok. it was a very scary situation for me.ive never got stuck
be fore and of course it gets stuck when im alone. my legs were shaking i was
scared i was gonan ruin my jeep worriend about the fan and the intake which
was dry and hoping i dont have to leave it here and possibly miss work. that
would have been bad.
thank you again judas and chunks you were a great help today. i had my
freind calling ppl he knew as well but couldnt get anybody.
last time i go wheeling like that again alone.
