Stock stereo: CD player jams

Has anyone experienced CDs not ejecting when pushing the eject button? It's happened to me on two different occasions on an 08 Wrangler X. Player display reads "ejecting disc" but nothing happens until about 5 - 10 tries. Very strange...:confused:
