I have a set of stock Sahara wheels and tires on my Wrangler X (got them for the reasonable price of free !) - these replaced the stock 16 inch steels. Can someone tell me what is the recommended tire pressure - is it the same as the stock X tires?

I searched thru 100 plus posts with no luck. Sorry for the silly question but at least it is an easy one. Thanks for your help.

SimpleMan,
I had the same tires on my Sahara. The recommended pressure was 32psi. And BTW, the other posters info is incorrect. This information is not molded into the side of the tire. Max psi is molded into the side of the tire. Recommended psi for any tire varies based on the vehicle it will be used with. :shaking:

Firestone is probably wrong. They are showing:

07-08 Jeep Sahara @ 30 lbs front/ 35 lbs rear (P255-75 R17)
07-08 Jeep Sahara @ 35 lbs front/ 35 lbs rear (P255-70 R18)

07-08 Jeep X- B, C, or S pkg @ 30 lbs front/ 35 lbs rear (P255-75 R17)

Thanks for the info. :grinpimp:

I knew that the number on the tire was max psi :thefinger:

And since the guy I got the wheels from is no longer a co-worker (damn drug/alcohol tests) therefore I could not check his door jambs I decided to ask y'all - again thanks:beer:

My 2008 Sahara has the stock Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts and the label on the door jam reads 35 psi all around.
