I know, easy right? Yes, but it's my 1st write up so baby steps. Also I looked here b4 I crawled under the jeep and didnt see one. So for people like me who like to see it b4 they do it here you go.
STEP 1
Grab a 5/8" open end wrench and socket with 2" extension.
STEP 2
Look into the rear wheel well towards the rear of the Jeep. You'll see these 4 bolts on each side. Get em out!
STEP 3
Now under the Jeep, you will see 2 more brackets attached to the bumper that look like these. Get them out too.
NOTE: My muffler is removed and I think that gave me alot more room. Muffler removal was simple as well. Remove the 1 bolt on the clamp leading to the muffler. Spray the 2 hangers with WD40 and pry the muffler from the hangers.
STEP 4
The bumper would not fall on me or come off with the spare tire on. REMOVE IT!! Mine was located here, marked by the thin white circle.
STEP 5
Now that bumper should come off willingly. Take it off. Now you're left with the little mud flaps as shown in the picture below. Cut em off!!!!
