Where were you that filming these two Chinooks caused that much dust? (not unlike any area in the world these massive whirly birds wouldn't cause dust)

FOB in Afghanistan.....guess I stood a little too close to the LZ :D Not always good to be 1st in line for the ride!!

lol! Very true. I hope your camera is going be ok. Don't know what you do, but if you're in good with an S-6 or 18E (<--- may require alcohol or meet for BBQ as payment), they can probably open it up delicately and then use a little canned air and paint brush to revive it back to life.

Great footage. Hope your recorder is ok!
It's toast!! The zoom motor cant close b/c of the junk inside so the doors that protect the lens wont close. Tried to use compressed air and got the zoom to close manually, but the doors are screwed. From now on guess I will just be using a GoPro!!
