So I live on Whidbey Island and it been snowing off an on for 3 days. I think we have accumulated 8-12 inches. To me that is not a lot of snow having spent the last 4 years in Maryland. I am was surprised at how ill prepared people are and the over all lack of equipment. I have only seen 2 plow trucks. and they were not putting down salt or anything thing else to melt the ice. I just figured the people of the pacific northwest would be able to handle a
little snow. I assume that the rest of Washington is better equipment than Island County.

Yes, yes they are........Seattle is TOTALLY dialed in on shrugging off the most extreme amounts of snow...........................................................................................................................................unless it exceeds .75 inches. Then shutdown :)

We dont get enough of it here to spend the money on all that equipment. Plus, the snow here is much snottier than what you are used to. Lastly, washington drivers are brainless asshats that freak out during any weather change...sun/snow/rain, it doesnt matter.

This.

An asshat neighbor tried to drive his car out his garage yesterday morning and now is wedged into the alley like Austin Powers and has one end completely blocked. I got a knock on my door a few minutes ago and pulled some stuck asshats back out to the main road. I suggested that I just drag them back home but they insisted in continuing.
